This week's blog post we have Mr. William Roebuck! Keep reading to learn all about the owner, himself, and to learn about the company!
Tell us about yourself.
I am Founder and President of Roebuck Staffing since May of 2011. I am married to a beautiful and loving lady who is a nurse practitioner in Greenville. I enjoy golfing, traveling, and spending time with family.
Why Roebuck Staffing?
The main reason I decided to get into the staffing business is that I always wanted to own my own company. So, I did some research and found out that starting a staffing business was one of the top 3 start up businesses at that time. I found the staffing business to be a challenge, but a good challenge. Also, finding a person a job puts a smile on my face. So, nearly 5 years later, here I am still working hard and enjoying each day while expanding my business.
What is your favorite…?

What do you like most about working at Roebuck Staffing?
I like the challenges that our in house employees at both office locations along with myself face each and every day. The challenges range from finding clients, recruiting potential employees, interviewing, and placing employees that match a certain client's needs. We have a great team at both office locations and everyone puts forth 110% effort each day.
How important is the resume and cover letter in the job application process?
It's very important to have a resume and cover letter. It shows the skills, past job history, along with references to help us place you in the right position.
What do you look for in a candidate?
I mainly look for reliability, enthusiasm, and experience.
What tips would you suggest for a candidate to prepare for an interview?
Being yourself, being honest, being confident, communicating clearly, and having a professional appearance are all good qualities of a successful candidate.
What resources would you recommend to applicants?
Job fairs, resume workshops, and networking!
